Criando historinhas

Minha querida filha, como sempre, me faz ter ótimas ideias. Recentemente ela desenhou um 'livrinho' sobre Alice no País das Maravilhas.
Eu guardei e um dia fui ler para ela e tive a ideia de escanear e criar um livrinho on-line. E logo pensei também em escrever abaixo a versão em inglês.
Estou considerando a ideia de usar na escola, como atividade interdisciplinar de Português, Inglês e Informática.

Trabalhando Imagens com música na aula de inglês

Estou afastada do trabalho devido a um problema de saúde, mas eu e Debi sempre tiramos um tempinho para 'brincar de aula de inglês' (antes ela falava brincar de caixa! rs!)

Ontem trabalhamos essa música com animals e colors.

Comecei contextualizando falando sobre os animais que vivem em cativeiro e que eles devem ser livres e perguntei a opinião dela.

Toquei uma vez e nós lemos no livro enquanto ouvíamos.

Depois mostrei algumas imagens relacionadas à musica em uma apresentação de slides.

Aí contamos com o áudio karaokê da música, vendo as imagens!

Comemore o dia das mães na aula de inglês!

Mother's day specials

Como vocês queridos leitores sabem dou aulas particulares e personalizadas para a minha filhotinha desde os 3 aninhos de idade (agora com 5 anos, mas quase 6!).

Ano passado eu planejei essas duas aulas e não dei porque estávamos todos muito ocupados, não me lembro com o que!

Aim: Mother’s day

Goals: Talk about the feelings mother and her children have for each other, practice fine motor skills. Say what a family is and its importance.

Procedures: Ÿ opening: Show a picture of you pregnant and ask her: “Who is here in my belly?” Then show a picture of her just after her birth and say: “You got out of my belly”. Now show a picture of you and her as a baby and after one where she is in the current age, say: “This is the daughter and this is the mother”. Finally show a picture of the whole family together and say: “This is a family: Mother, Father and child. We love each other and we are happy together but we have to respect each other to get along well.” Today we’re going to celebrate Mother’s day- invite her to kiss and hug you and you do the same for her; Ÿ Singing time: I love mommy; Ÿ activity: Ask her to draw you two in a free way on a small piece of paper.

Procedures: Ÿ opening: ask her to put the pictures of the previous class in the correct order and paste them to the board; Ÿ Cooking class: Heart cookies; Ÿ activity: Help her to make a card using the previous class’ drawing.

Como começar a ensinar Inglês ao seu filho - Primeiras aulas + Download

Comecei a ensinar Inglês a minha filha quando ela tinha 3 anos.

Primeiramente, não sabia bem por onde começar, então baixei o livro On the road through preschool da internet. Então eu o imprimi, encadernei e comecei a ler as instruções.

O próximo passo foi comprar os materiais (no livro tem a lista de materiais necessários!). Bom, aí entrou a parte 'teacher' de ser e eu fiz o planejamento das aulas. Inicialmente eram bem simples e com o tempo fui encrementando e deixando as aulas mais interessantes.

Aim: Getting started

Goal: Decorate two boxes

Procedures: Show all the material we are going to use on the classes; decorate along with her the boxes; organize the supplies in one of the boxes.

Class 002 – 06-12-08

Page: 15

Aim: Colors – red and blue

Goal: Introduce the new colors

Procedures: Show objects on the target color saying the name of the colors; show a card with its name colored; match the card with the object; ask her to color the book.

Class 003 – 07-12-08

Page: 16

Aim: Colors – yellow and green

Goals: Review the colors blue and red and introduce the color yellow and green.

Procedures: Show the objects in red and the card; show the objects in blue and the card; now the yellow one and then green; show objects in the four colors and ask her to match the cards along with the objects; ask her to color the book.

Aim: The colors – red, blue, yellow and green

Goal: Review all the colors

Procedures: Show the pages and tell what she’s going to do; show the crayons in the four colors and ask her to match with the cards, put on some paint in the paint container, giver the paint brush and ask her to color color by color, there’s one extra picture for her to paint.

Goal: Review all the colors

Procedures: Show the colors and say their names, ask her to glue sequins on the pictures.

Procedures:

* Opening: Use little toys and ask her to point which ones are de same;
* Free play: give her a worksheet and her to cross out the pictures that are the same;

A 'teacherzinha' aqui está em clima de férias!

Volta às origens

Desde Setembro (mostrado neste post aqui) que eu e minha filha não fazemos as nossas 'aulinhas de inglês' como nós chamamos nossas aulas (ou encontros, como a minha orientadora chama), devido a extrema falta de tempo que vinha tendo desde então.

Foi a partir dessa experiência informal que surgiu a ideia de pesquisar o ensino de inglês a crianças. No TCC, a pesquisa é focada no ensino de inglês a crianças pequenas que cursam a educação infantil, já que a minha filhotinha cursava essa fase escolar até o fim deste ano. Mas como ela vai passar para uma nova fase, digamos que o quanto antes quero também amadurecer a minha pesquisa e pesquisar o ensino de inglês nos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental. A minha opinião sobre essa etapa escolar foi explicar neste post aqui.

Hoje tivemos momentos bem divertidos juntas. Fizemos um maravilhoso flashback em uma parte do que já foi ensinado até então e eu notei que ela lembra bem. E o melhor pronuncia deliciosamente o inglês.

Foi também a comemoração atrasada do 2nd anniversary das nossas aulinhas (completamos em 5 de Dezembro) mas como estava estudando como uma louca não pude nem pensar nisso.

Amanhã começo um treinamento em uma escola de inglês de ponta (top top top). Me deseja sorte!

Material: flashcard, colored yarn, glue and paper for the worksheet.
Aim: Letter J is for Jump rope
Goals: Letter J regognation and acquire new vocabulary, practice fine motor skills.
Procedures: *opening: Show a flashcard of a jump rope and invite student to glue a picture of a jump rope to Letter J impact poster; *free play: Use a piece of yarn as a jump rope and let student just jump! *activity: Ask student to glue the yarn around the drawing of a jump rope in a piece of paper.
Observations: The class was a success with my daughter!
